Day 13 definitely not unlucky

Arrived at Babington House in Somerset- what a place to recharge the batteries before Bruges. Thanks Dan!

AND we found the authentic hill that Jack and Jill went up to get a pail of  water,,

Also an alert I am only on iPad now and as good with photos etc and not of internet in Bruge so you might have to wait until Saturday for  Bruge blog!! 

Day 12 London

John and I  were able to watch Dan on TV at last. It was a special edition of the Lorraine show- she had been on air for 30 years.

Well John and I managed the tube to Oxford Circus- did some shopping

then caught the tube to the Imperial War Museum to prepare for my trip to Flanders Fields - a bit gutted as the trenches diplay that John had gone to 5 years ago had been updates and a huge WW1 exhibition was on but not as good as the old one really- less soul.





Then off to Kylie Minogue at the box at the O2 courtesy of Dan to catch up with ex pats and ex pats kids!!!

Back to London feeling very relaxed!!!

 Farewell Corfu it was a grand time

Mainly a travel day!!!

 Back in lovely warm and dry London- Thames River Walk and then Pizza and DVD then bed!!

Day 10 last full day in Corfu

Then off to the beach last day but what a day. I swam THREE times in the sea!! AND out of my depth!!!!

Met two stunning young women from Poland now Reading.  One saved my life from a flying umbrella- set up conversation for the next half hour.

Then off on boat to Corfu old town- we have decided there are no RAMs forms or health and safety requirements in Corfu- here is the boat.
